What we consider
The initial list was assembled by comparing current official Florida Keys tourism categories, established Key West attraction and operator websites, current destination guides, city and state resources, and widely recognized local experiences.
We aim for a mix of first-visit essentials and experiences that let repeat visitors go deeper: history, water, fishing, wildlife, beaches, food, arts and nightlife.
Ranks can change
Operators close, attractions evolve, new experiences appear and visitor interests shift. The Top 100 should be reviewed periodically rather than treated as permanent.
Sponsored placements do not buy rank
Advertising positions are clearly marked. Buying an ad does not automatically add a business to the Top 100 and does not improve an existing editorial rank.
